The Abandoned World

A girl walking alone on the street encounters an origami crane, which takes her to a world filled with things abandoned by humans.

Despite seeing the masks she once discarded and sensing the crane’s sadness, she chooses to keep ignoring them, as people ignore the fate of what they throw away. The story reflects on that repeated indifference: these abandoned things are also moments that ask for attention and recognition.
